'Nellie' and her litter sister 'Maggie' were retained from a lovely litter of 6 puppies, from which a male 'Angus' went to our good friends Bodil and Bob Wilson (Macheather Collies) at 8 weeks.

 

We ran on both girls, knowing one would need to leave us due to space, and as both were developing very well, we were lucky that Bodil and Bob were interested in also having Maggie so she went to live with them. Maggie quickly became successful in the ring, remaining unbeaten throughout her show career and as a brood bitch she passed on her many qualities to her children.

 

Nellie was not shown much as a youngster (she had a BIS at a club open show) as I spent a lot of time in England but she won 2 CCs quickly once shown, these were won under all rounder Marianne Frestadius and Helge Lie, at this last show she was also BOB and Group 3. At her last show, Nellie was 2nd with the res CC - my permanent move to England meant she was not shown again and not bred from and she remained my mum's pet.
